Who we are: Obsidian is a management consultancy, founded over 20 years ago.Our consultants form a partnership of complementary specialisms. All have held senior management positions in corporate careers before becoming professional consultants.We have been in our clients' positions. We employ no juniors but deliver all assignments ourselves.

What's in a name? In the mists of time we acquired the name of a semi-precious rock, Obsidian. This glass-like, volcanic material can be smooth, tactile and beautiful but, when split, forms hard, sharp edges, which have been used for millennia for sacrificial and surgical blades. We like to think we are similarly incisive and user-friendly.
